But is CREX – Just Cricket worth downloading in 2026? What features does it offer, how does it handle T20 scores, and can you watch live cricket through the app? This detailed review covers the latest update, major features, user experience, advantages, limitations, and important things to know before installing it.
What Is CREX – Just Cricket?
CREX – Just Cricket is a cricket-focused mobile app developed by CREX, from Parthtech Developers LLP. It is designed to help fans follow cricket matches, understand player performances, explore tournament statistics, and stay updated with cricket news.
Unlike general sports apps that cover football, basketball, tennis, and many other sports, CREX concentrates on cricket. This focus allows it to provide cricket-specific information, including ball-by-ball commentary, partnerships, wickets, scorecards, team squads, points tables, rankings, and player statistics.
According to CREX’s official About page, the platform began in 2017 with a focus on cricket analytics and has expanded into live scores, journalism, match analysis, player profiles, and fan discussions.
CREX
For cricket fans, this combination makes the app useful before, during, and after a match.
CREX – Just Cricket Latest Update 2026
If you are searching for the CREX latest update or CREX latest version, check the official Google Play listing for the most reliable Android installation and update information.
The current Google Play listing shows September 9, 2026, as its update date. Its update notes highlight new social discussions, CREX Social features, and improvements to the cricket experience. The listing also describes player comparisons, statistics, match highlights, and performance improvements.
Apps on Google Play
Recent iOS version history also shows ongoing development, including improved notification controls, match highlights, player statistics, and Picture-in-Picture support for video. These iOS changes do not necessarily mean the same features arrive on Android at the same time.
App Store
Regular updates can improve stability, refine the interface, and introduce new ways to follow cricket. If an older version is giving you trouble, check your device’s official app store for an available update.
Main Features of CREX – Just Cricket
1. Live Cricket Scores
The main attraction of CREX – Just Cricket is its live cricket score coverage.
The app helps you follow ongoing matches and check scores without repeatedly searching the internet. You can open the Matches section to find games in progress, view scorecards, and access match information.
This is useful when you cannot watch a match on television or follow a live stream. You can still keep up with the score and key developments from your phone.
CREX covers international and domestic cricket, including major leagues and tournaments. However, individual match coverage and available details may vary by competition.

2. Ball-by-Ball Commentary
A score alone does not always explain how a match is unfolding. Ball-by-ball commentary provides additional context about individual deliveries and important moments.
CREX offers live commentary so users can follow the progress of an innings and understand key events without watching every delivery.
For example, commentary can help you track boundaries, wickets, changes in momentum, and important stages of a chase.
This feature is particularly useful when you are travelling, working, or unable to watch the match.
3. Detailed Scorecards
The scorecard is one of the most important tools in any cricket app.
CREX provides detailed match scorecards, including player performances, partnerships, and wicket information. Its official listing highlights detailed statistics and ball-by-ball match coverage.
Apps on Google Play
A scorecard can help you understand more than the current total. You can review how individual batters performed, examine the bowling figures, and see how a team reached its score.
For cricket fans who enjoy analysing matches, this information adds value beyond basic live results.
4. T20 Cricket Scores and Tournament Coverage
If you follow T20 cricket, CREX – Just Cricket offers a dedicated way to explore short-format competitions.
The app’s official listing includes coverage of tournaments and leagues such as the Indian T20 League, Pakistan T20 League, Big Bash League, Bangladesh Premier League, SA20, T20 Blast, and other competitions. It also lists international tours and women’s cricket events.
Apps on Google Play
You can browse match schedules, follow live scores, check completed results, and explore information about upcoming fixtures.
T20 matches often change quickly, so live scores and ball-by-ball commentary are especially valuable. They help fans follow the game when a batter accelerates the scoring rate or a bowling side takes important wickets.
Tournament availability can change with the cricket calendar, so check the app for the current fixtures and competition coverage.
5. International Cricket Coverage
International cricket includes Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and T20 Internationals.
CREX provides information about international tours and competitions, allowing fans to follow teams from different countries.
The app also includes match schedules, squad details, statistics, and cricket news.
Apps on Google Play
This is helpful if you follow your national team throughout the year or enjoy watching series between different cricketing nations.
Instead of checking separate websites for every tour, you can use CREX as a central place to find relevant match information.
6. Match Fixtures and Results
Live scores are useful during a match, but fixtures help you plan what to follow next.
CREX includes a Fixtures section where users can explore upcoming matches by day, series, and team. Its listing also describes filters for international cricket, T20, ODI, Test, league, and women’s matches.
Apps on Google Play
This makes it easier to find matches that interest you.
You can check upcoming fixtures before a series begins and return to the app later to follow the score or review the result.
The finished-match information is also useful if you missed a game and want to catch up.
7. Player Statistics and Performance Analysis
Cricket fans often want to know more than who won.
They may want to compare batting performances, check bowling figures, review records, or understand how a player has performed across a tournament.
CREX provides player statistics, profiles, rankings, records, and analytical information. Its official website describes the platform as a destination for cricket data, statistics, player profiles, and deeper match analysis.
CREX
These tools can help you explore a player’s performance and compare players or teams.
The available statistics depend on the match and competition, but the broader emphasis on cricket data makes CREX useful for fans who enjoy analysing the sport.
8. Head-to-Head Statistics
Recent Google Play update notes highlight head-to-head statistics that allow users to compare players and teams through match commentary. The listing also mentions additional statistics for sixes and fours in series information.
Apps on Google Play
These features can help you examine individual performances and understand how players compare in particular contexts.
For example, you may want to compare two batters or review a team’s results against another team.
Remember that past statistics do not guarantee future performance. Use comparisons as helpful context rather than as certain predictions of a match result.
9. Cricket News and Breaking Updates
CREX also provides cricket news, match reports, trending stories, and articles about players and teams.
This means you can use the app when no match is currently underway.
You may discover updates about team selection, player performances, upcoming series, tournament developments, and other cricket stories.
The app’s Home and News sections bring together cricket information and short-form content, while CREX’s official platform describes its editorial coverage as including breaking news, features, interviews, and data-led storytelling.
CREX
For fans who like to follow cricket both on and off the field, this is a useful addition.
10. Match Highlights and Cricket Videos
Sometimes, you may miss a match or want to revisit an important moment.
CREX promotes match highlights, cricket videos, short-form content, and match summaries. Its current listing also highlights exclusive cricket videos and viral match moments.
Apps on Google Play
These features can help users catch up on important developments without relying entirely on a full match replay.
Video availability may vary by match, region, and content rights. Therefore, do not assume that every match will have complete video coverage inside the app.
11. Live Cricket Streaming
One notable development is the availability of selected live cricket streaming through CREX.
The Google Play listing says CREX has partnered with FanCode to offer live cricket streaming on mobile, with this option available exclusively in India according to the listing.
Apps on Google Play
This distinction is important.
CREX is primarily known for live scores, commentary, statistics, and cricket content, but selected matches may also have streaming options for eligible users in India.
Streaming access can depend on location, match rights, subscription requirements, and the specific event. If you are outside India, check the options shown in your version of the app rather than assuming that live video is available for every match.
12. Fantasy Cricket Analysis and Expert Tips
CREX includes fantasy cricket analysis and tips from cricket experts.
Its Google Play listing mentions free fantasy tips and expert content, including videos featuring Aakash Chopra.
Apps on Google Play
This material can help users explore player form, match conditions, team combinations, and other factors that may matter when building a fantasy team.
However, expert tips are opinions, not guarantees. Fantasy outcomes depend on player performance and unpredictable match events.
Use the analysis to understand the game better rather than treating any suggestion as a certain way to win.
13. CREX Social and Match Discussions
Cricket is often more enjoyable when fans can discuss important moments together.
CREX’s newer social features allow users to take part in discussions, share opinions, react to match events, and connect with other cricket followers. The current Google Play listing specifically highlights Discussions and CREX Social.
Apps on Google Play
These features add a community element to the app.
You can discuss a close finish, debate a decision, or share your thoughts about a team’s performance.
As with any social platform, remember to protect your personal information and communicate respectfully with other users.
14. Series Tables, Rankings and Team Squads
Tournament tables and team information are essential for following a competition over several matches.
CREX offers series information, points tables, player rankings, team rankings, squads, and records.
Apps on Google Play
These features help users understand a team’s position in a tournament and see how players are performing.
For league competitions, the points table can be especially useful because a single match result may affect a team’s position or qualification chances.
The Squads section can also help you review the players associated with a series or team.
15. Cricket Search and Personalized Notifications
Finding a particular player, team, or match can take time when a tournament contains many fixtures.
CREX includes a Cricket Search feature designed to help users locate cricket information more quickly. It also provides notifications for matches, key events, and breaking cricket news.
Apps on Google Play
You can use search to find relevant information and manage your cricket experience around your interests.
Notifications are particularly useful when you cannot keep the app open. However, it is worth reviewing your notification settings so that you receive the updates you actually want.
16. Light Mode, Dark Mode and Language Options
A comfortable interface matters when you check scores frequently.
CREX supports light and dark themes, allowing users to choose a display style that suits their surroundings and preferences. The Google Play listing also identifies English, Hindi, and Bengali as available language options.
Apps on Google Play
Dark mode can be useful at night, while light mode may be more comfortable in brighter surroundings.
Language options can also make cricket information easier to access for users who prefer reading in Hindi or Bengali rather than English.
Availability of specific interface and article languages may vary by app version.
Is CREX – Just Cricket Free?
CREX is free to download from Google Play, but the app contains advertisements and offers in-app purchases. It also provides a premium subscription for users who want an ad-free experience.
Apps on Google Play
The free version is a useful starting point if you mainly want live cricket scores, commentary, fixtures, and news.
Before purchasing a subscription, check the current price, billing period, renewal conditions, and included features in your app store. Subscription options and prices may change over time and vary by region.
CREX – Just Cricket User Experience
The main strength of CREX – Just Cricket is its cricket-focused design.
Instead of mixing football, tennis, and other sports into the same experience, it concentrates on cricket scores, matches, series, statistics, videos, and news.
The Home section helps you discover cricket stories and updates. Matches provides information about ongoing games, while Series and Fixtures help you explore competitions and upcoming matches. The News section covers cricket stories, and additional sections provide rankings and other information.
Apps on Google Play
This layout can be useful for regular cricket followers. However, the amount of content may feel busy if you only want a simple scorecard.
For a cleaner experience, follow your favorite teams and matches, adjust notifications, and focus on the sections you use most.
CREX Privacy and Data Safety
Before installing any app, it is sensible to review its privacy disclosures.
The current Google Play data-safety information for CREX states that the app may share certain information with third parties and may collect location, personal information, and other data. The listing also indicates that data is not encrypted, according to the developer-provided disclosure, and that users can request data deletion.
Apps on Google Play
These details deserve attention, particularly if you use account features or social discussions.
Review the latest privacy policy and permissions before sharing personal information. Download CREX from its official app-store listing, and avoid unofficial installation files from untrusted websites.
